When you become an addict to alcohol you start experiencing problem with sleeping without alcohol and which also impacts your day to day functionality. You would be lazy and lethargic at work which could get you into some serious trouble. Your boss would curse you for being sluggish at work and there is a possibility that you could lose your job. Children who grow up in this kind of atmosphere think that this is normal. Alcohol abuse could cloud your judgment and make you irrational. There have been many reports of child abuse in families where parents were alcoholic.
